I'm nineteen and I live in Italy. Here in the morning there is the smell of coffee and fresh bread, and in the evening the air is filled with the clink of glasses and the laughter of people sitting on the terraces. Every day I wake up with the thought that life is a holiday, even if for no reason. I open the window, feel the warmth of the sun on my face and think: what a blessing it is to just be here. I'm an art student. I like to draw old streets, flowers in vases and people I see at the market. Sometimes I sit with a notepad, drink a cappuccino and watch old ladies argue about the price of tomatoes. It all seems so alive, real.
